Suffering from Trauma? PTSD Treatment Works! Most Insurance Accepted. Call Today 888-335-8699 Attempt to do MRI procedureOn the October 13, 2005 I reported to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Center, Denver Colorado, for the performance of Dr. XXXX requested orders for CT-Scan of neck and mid-back area. Please be advised that I refused medical treatment when the above medial procedure order was changed to performing an MRI on the Thoracic region.1. As my records show, Dr. XXXXX from Denver VA hospital states that I am not to have any MRI’s because of shrapnel imbedded within my body. I do not know the number of times this has been noted in my official medical records, I know of at least two times. Dr. XXXX requested the above listed procedures on 23AUG05 but these orders were changed by a doctor in Denver on the day of my arrival for the CT-scan. Please note that I never wanted a full scan of the entire spine, just of the discs around T-11 where there is a compression fracture, lumbar region because of pain and finally the cervical region because of the pain that I’m experiencing after the fall in X-ray on 11JUN05 while films were made to determine the location of shrapnel lodged in the of neck. As stated in Incident Report Filed 08JUL05, that fall produced increased pain in mid-back and a crunching sound in my neck.
